Cooper Elliott is a Toronto-based tenor saxophonist, bandleader, and educator-in-training. Beginning his studies in Jazz Education at the University of Toronto in September, he is dedicated to developing both as a performer and as an advocate for the next generation of jazz musicians.
An active performer across the Greater Toronto Area, Cooper has appeared with ensembles including the JazzFM 91.1 Youth Big Band and the Durham Jazz Senior Band and Combo. As he continues his studies, he aims to contribute to Canada's jazz community through performance, education, and original artistic work.
